Eric Tashlein

Eric is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and founding principal of Connecticut Capital Management Group. He enjoys helping high-achieving individuals manage, organize, and simplify their financial affairs. Eric was an early adopter of the client based fiduciary model which allows him to find financial solutions that are right for his clients unique circumstances.

Eric is the author of the book “Smart Moves for Managing Your Money” and is the financial columnist for the New Haven Register, a daily newspaper in Connecticut.  He also is a contributing author of “Giving”, a book on financial planning. He has been quoted in Money Magazine, Financial Advisor, and USA Today.

Eric and his family are lifelong area residents. Eric is active in many different charities and organizations. He is a past President of Milford Rotary and a past President of the Financial Planning Association of CT-New Haven Chapter. In addition, he sits on the Board of Corporators for Milford Hospital and The Milford Bank. He is a member of the Milford and Orange Chambers of Commerce and has been a long time member of the New Haven Manufacturers Association. He was recently named a 2018 Five Star Wealth Manager* as stated in the December 2018 issue of Connecticut Magazine.  Eric has won this award five times.

Outside of finance, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid boater, fisherman, downhill skier, and an enthusiastic but humbled golfer who has left his mark/s at many an area golf course.
